02 - KLAW or bust

The name screams seafood, but other surprises were being

served...

A reservation and an elevator are the only two things that could swift you away to the inside of this restaurant.

A bar and patio with an ocean view on the first floor and another dining experience located just upstairs. We arrived a little earlier than our table was ready, so we were able to pregame with a view and some apps. The service was great as everything transitioned from our bar table to our reservation (the drinks could come with too!), which was nice. When walking upstairs, the vibe changed from a light and airy Art Deco environment into a darker-toned atmosphere that changed the mood with its low ambient lighting. open plan, large supper styled dining tables, and large radius windows that wrapped around the room.

The main dishes were their well-known “KLAW” which is the King Crab straight from Norway, and different cuts of steak from all over the world. They included table service to show you the meat cut options. As well as prepare certain dishes right at your table. The wine menu was lengthy, which helps with pairing, but being able to have a choice from a plentiful selection is always a good thing too!

Rooftop apps...

YES, it’s oysters, grow up or don’t.

Love a good restroom-core...

This includes patterned dark blue tile and a double lighted scone from Thomas O’brien. TIP: Try rotating it to create different looks. That can go for other sconces too. You never know which angle could be more appealing.

Art in Butchery...

Each steak has been aged and prepped. When walking by, the fridge blended into the environment so well, from the mood to the bold colors, that it looked like art. Hard to explain, you just have to see it!

DINNER & Dessert

All that design talk, did you think I forgot about the food?

LOVE a good colorful plating!

And sometimes, you just order the dang dessert. Very to the point and just enough. If you like coffee (the fuel that runs Miami), add an order of cafecito to end the night!
